Country Kitchen in Newport

Cozy character-filled diner in an antique train car! It seems a bit hole in the wall but we had a phenomenal breakfast after not expecting too much on an unplanned roadtrip stop. We were very pleased - all the food was really wonderful, made fresh with obvious care, attentive service, absolutely would recommend!

Good was very good and the place was packed. Some things took a little longer than expected, we are chasing that up to how busy it was. Next time we are in the area we will be stopping back. Alwsys enjoy a good breakfast place!

The food is plentiful and gooo-oood !!! The staff is super friendly and attentive. I love this place!! They have a lot of regulars here which I believe is a good sign. I recommend that you eat here as often as you can. I do.

Oh, how I wish every town had a diner to cater to my breakfast needs. These folks are great! Friendly, accurate, and fast. And why, do you ask, have I posted a picture of an empty plate? Well, had you eaten here the answer would be obvious. I ATE IT ALL!

Best breakfast around. French toast was awsome and hash meal was great. Pancakes as big of a frisbee. On vacation? Go there!!!

Love this country breakfast-lunch restaurant! Generous portions, good home cooked food, friendly wait staff, and we all sit close....bikers, truckers, tourists, and locals....all ages and all sizes!!! We look forward to it whenever we are in the area.
